About Paul Holder
I trained to become a Hypnotherapy Practitioner at The Clifton Practice in Bristol.
I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP).
I am a member of The National Council For Hypnotherapy (MNCH Lic) and as such I adhere to their strict codes of conduct and ethical guidelines.
My background is varied. For many years I worked as a professional musician. I have worked
with
many different artistes as a session pianist and keyboard player
and through that work I have travelled extensively to many
different countries around the world. I have also written
music for radio stations, advertisements and stage plays. I now
utilize my own music compositions for use in my therapy
sessions and I am also currently developing a series of CDs for
general relaxation and therapy. My own experience within the performing
arts profession has since helped clients to overcome
their fears of stage fright, public speaking, and sports
performance etc.
I
was taught to become a Hypnotherapy practitioner by David Newton
who is recognised as one of the leading & most innovative Hypnotherapy practitioners
and trainers in the U.K. David's dedication to his profession has
helped him to attain the highest standards for his graduates and has
contributed immensely to Hypnotherapy in the UK becoming more and more
recognised as an extremely versatile and effective method
of treating many conditions.
This high standard is now increasingly
being reflected throughout the medical profession, not only in
this country, but worldwide too. Here in Britain, The British Medical Association are
now embracing its versatile efficacy with an ever increasing
number of GPs now regularly referring patients to Hypnotherapists.
The Clifton Practice has grown from strength to strength since its formation in 1995 by David and his wife Stephanie. Now the training school and working practice has an enviable reputation of being regarded as the leader in its field with the latest techniques and forward thinking. As
a graduate from The Clifton Practice I attend regular training seminars and
continuing professional development to ensure that my knowledge and
standards are kept to the highest and most current levels.
